My daughter's tu-tu birthday cake!

For my daughter's first birthday, I made her a ballerina tu-tu cake! It is strawberry cake, with a strawberry compote filling and buttercream icing. Happy birthday, Anndi!

Mountain Cake!

This is a giant, delicious carrot cake with cream cheese frosting filling. I poured chocolate ganache over the top of it to creat the mountain look. This cake was made for my father-in-law's surprise 60th birthday party. His favorite things involve speed - biking, skiing, and riding in his red sports car with his wife.

Texas Sheet Cake!

My sister-in-law is having a baby girl and I got to help throw a baby shower for her! Her favorite type of cake is texas sheet cake. So, I made it in two 9-inch circle cake pans and then poured the delicious chocolate frosting in the middle of and over the two layers. It didn't turn out as pretty as some frostings, but man it tasted good!
