Four-Tiered Wedding Cake

This was my very first wedding cake. Two layers are white cake, while the other two layers are chocolate. The filling on all four layers is a homemade cream cheese frosting with fresh raspberries. This cake fed about 300 people!

Holly's Baby Shower Cake

I got to make my first baby shower cake, and it was a polka dot theme! So, I did a simple funfetti two-layer cake (polka dots) and put pink polka dots all over it. I also made my second creation out of fondant, a little sleeping baby! I wasn't REALLY excited about how the baby's skin turned out, so I hope it's better next time, but I think it still looks cute!

Duncan's Birthday Cake

So, because of the opportunity to make someone's wedding cake, I got SOOOOOOOO much practice. I feel so much more able to make a really nice-looking cake now, and I'm so grateful! This cake was a BALL to make. I specialized it specifically to our dear friend who we call Dunk. He's an avid Florida Gator's fan, loves basketball, and loves running. He loved his cake.

Halloween Cupcake Cake 2007

I got this idea online and brought it to a Halloween party a couple years ago. It is all cupcakes. It was really fun to do and turned out to be a hit with the kids! I want to make another cake like this someday, with a different theme like birthday or Christmas!

Birthday Doll Cake

So, this being my first time making or even seeing a doll cake in person, it was a shot in the dark. I believe I made the dress waaaay too big. It was also my first shot at making marshmallow fondant, or even handling fondant at all. But, it still turned out pretty cute!

I made a half white, half chocolate one-layer cake for my own birthday party. It was fun to make my cake, okay! Oh, and NO I didnt do the letters on this. Blake did the letters. Pretty good huh?

General Cakes

These were just some regular two- or one-layer round cakes I made for my cake class and for practice. The icing on these is homemade buttercream.

Purple Birthday Cake

This was another simple all-store-bought cake that I made for my mom! I picked out all the whte and purple sprinkles out of a colorful box of sprinkles! She loves purple.

Caleb's 1st Birthday Cake

These cakes were for my son's first birthday party, which was a "BALL" theme! They were all made from boxes and store-bought icing, but this started my love for cake making and decorating!
